Ege Kimya has two manufacturing
facilities, one being its old factory in Kagithane, Istanbul, now the
site where Porcelain Enamels & Oxides and Zinc oxides are manufactured;
the other, new plant in Adapazari, ca. 130 kms east of Istanbul, where
all other products are manufactured. The Adapazari site comprises approximately
110,000 sq metres with over 12,000 sq metres in covered buildings and
houses state-of-the-art manufacturing units as well as services for energy,
water & waste treatment etc.. The site is ISO certified and has all services
for eventual additional manufacturing operations for the future.
On the same site in
Adapazari, Egesil Kimya has access to all services through Ege Kimya and
buys its principal raw material, sodium silicate liquid from its sister
company.
