Porcelain enamel frit manufacture, a technology dating from the middle ages, has been developed over the 20 th Century and Ege Kimya can be counted among the oldest European establishments engaged in the manufactre of this commodity. Although the general use of this product is on the decline, being replaced in part by other, newer materials: there are new applications which are the subject of research of the R&D departments, where a virtually spotless, smooth and hygienic glass surface is required, affording all the unique properties only such a coating can provide.
