Calcium Carboxylate
Calcium carboxylates are of two technology: (i) overbased, and (ii) neutral;
Overbased calcium carboxylate reaches higher metal percentages than neutral calcium carboxylate.
Neutral calcium carboxylates are less sensitive to humid environments in terms of their nature and, neutral calcium carboxylates can be used in high humidity applications.
By adding EGEDry® & Durham Nuodex Calcium carboxylates at the mill-base stage, they can be used as supportive agent for a better wetting and dispersing.
EGEDry® & Durham Nuodex Calcium carboxylates at the mill-base stage when using highly active pigments such as blacks, deep reds and blues they act as sacrificial driers to reduce the absorption of Cobalt and zirconium driers.
EGEDry® & Durham Nuodex Calcium series are low viscosity, colourless to pale yellow Calcium carboxylate driers for coatings, based on saturated branched synthetic acids in hydrocarbon solvents suited for the end users’ needs.

Barium Carboxylate
Barium carboxylates are auxiliary modifier driers which work with the primary and through driers.
Barium carboxylates can be used to significantly increase the gloss of a coating.
Barium carboxylates can exhibit good thermal stability, making them suitable for high-temperature applications.

Zinc Carboxylate
Zinc carboxylates have a wide range of applications due to their diverse properties.
Zinc carboxylates can improve drying and hardening as an auxiliary drier in paints and coatings.

Lithium Carboxylate
EGEDry® & Durham Nuodex Lithium neodecanoate is a through paint drier.
EGEDry® & Durham Nuodex Lithium neodecanoate is effective for through dry at the low temperature paint applicaitons.
EGEDry® & Durham Nuodex Lithium neodecanoate can be used in water based coatings to promote through dry and to enhance the miscibility of the primary drier.
