Potassium Carboxylate

EGECat® Potassium series are low viscosity, colourless to pale yellow potassium carboxylates, accelerators for unsaturated polyester resins, based on saturated branched synthetic acids in glycols suited for the end users needs.

EGECat® Potassium series are synergistic accelerators used to regulate the gel time, cure time and peak exotherm.

EGECat® Potassium series are used in combination with accelarators from the EGECat® Cobalt and Prime series for unsaturated polyester resins.

* The recommended usage level of EGECat® Potassium carboxylates is 0,1-0,5% on total formulation.

Copper Carboxylate

EGECat® Copper series are low viscosity, green coloured Copper carboxylates based on saturated branched synthetic acids in hydrocarbon solvents suited for the end users needs.

EGECat® Copper series are synergistic accelerators used to regulate the cure time and especially the peak exotherm of unsaturated polyester resins.

For maximum synergy EGECat® Copper series are used in combination with accelerators from the EGECat® Cobalt and EGECat® Prime series for unsaturated polyester resins.

Cobalt Carboxylate

EGECat® Cobalt Series

EGECat® Cobalt series are low viscosity, blue-purple coloured Cobalt carboxylates based on saturated branched synthetic acids in hydrocarbon solvents suited for the end users needs.

EGECat® Cobalt series are versatile catalysts used to accelerate the curing of unsaturated polyester resin (UPR).

EGECat® Prime Series

EGECat® Prime series are low viscosity, blue-purple coloured polymeric cobalt carboxylates in hydrocarbon solvents suited for the end users needs.

EGECat® Prime series are versatile catalysts used in the unsaturated polyester resin (UPR) industry to cross-link unsaturated polyester and increase the activity of peroxides at room temperature.

EGECat® Prime series are REACH exempt.

There is no requirement for labelling.

Toxicity is reduced due to low bioavailability.

EGECat® Prime series are alternatives to standard Cobalt carboxylates.

Storage

It should be stored in cool and dry places below 30°C. Since it is a product that oxidizes easily, packages should not be open during storage. Shelf life is 60 months from the production date.
